Amy performs regularly across the country on both piano and accordion. While she mainly plays for contra dances, she also plays occasional English Country Dances and concerts. She grew up in the contra dance community, and began to perform for dances in 2010 in Boston. Since then, she has expanded her performance circuit, and has performed in over 20 states in the US. Below are some groups she plays with. See Amy's performance schedule here, and her original tunes here.

The Free Raisins (Audrey Knuth on fiddle, Jeff Kaufman on mandolin/electronic feet & Amy on piano/accordion) started playing together in 2010, and have evolved over the years to form a tight sound - sometimes silly, sometimes serious, always danceable. They have recorded two CDs together: a live CD in 2012, and a studio CD in 2014. See upcoming performances here

Triple A (Audrey Knuth on fiddle, Andrew VanNorstrand on fiddle/guitar & Amy on piano/accordion): Andrew, from the Great Bear Trio, has played nationally for over a decade, pushing the boundaries and setting the standard for modern contra dance music. Amy and Audrey have played together with the Free Raisins for the past five years, sharing their unique sounds in over 20 states in the east and mid-west. Triple A combines these forces for a new and energetic dance and concert experience. See upcoming performances here
